Help With Necro Weapons
I'm curious as to what people would say is the best Necro Staff.
I'm asking, because I want a new one.
I'm currently wielding a blue Defensive Cruel Staff or Fortitude.
Max Damage 11-22
Req : Blood Magic 9
Improves Blood Magic Casting (20%)
Improves Blood Magic Recharge (20&)
Armour + 4
Health + 24
Damage + 20% (Customisation)
I imagine I can get a gold staff with blood magic, and from their add a head upgrade and a wrapping to make a better weapon....but what should I look out???
Thanx

This comes down to the Armour vs HP upgrade argument.
I personally do not see the point in gold caster weapons at all, the chances of getting stats better than the collector staff you are using at the moment are rediculously minescule. I personally use a +5 Energy head rather than Armour +4, and a HP+30 wrapping rather than +24 (well, in pvp because I have it unlocked), although I'm quite tempted by switching for Armour+5 instead.
The closest I can get to answering your question though, is that there isn't really a better staff out there for you - and I don't see what's wrong with the one you wield as it is.

I use a combo of 2 staff's, which different mods. Both are the collector 20/20 staff, the first I use is +5 energy, +30 hp mod, the other is just +30 staff head, +30 staff wrapping. I use either, and both seem to compliment my build very well.
As far as I know there is no gold staff that has 20/20 on blood, and is max damage. I could be wrong, but even if there is it is pointless to buy it, as the collectors one is the best you can get.

For starters, when possible, I suggest Dark damage over Cold damage, except when you're using Spinal Shivers. It won't be affected by defence against physical or elemental skills, and won't trigger skills like Storm Chaser.
20% in the skill branches of your choice is a given.
The last part depends on your build.
If you're using skills like Blood is Power, Blood Ritual, or the Orders, a 20% enchantment mod is a great help. That's 2 more seconds of +6 energy regeneration on your ally [which is +4 more energy out of the deal], or 2 more seconds of +3 energy regeneration [+2 energy], or an extra 1 second of +damage on your allies. [Those spells add up in price fast]
If you're not, then don't bring one. No reason to have buffed enchants when you don't enchant at all.
Elsewise, armor's most likely best. Reduced damage is better than a miniscule boost in health.
As is said, unless you survived with 1-30 health remaining only, that bonus didn't help you.
